Thank you for taking the time
to visit my website, on the
following pages I would like to
show you my house Dankl,
now run by the 3rd generation.
The Dankl house was built by my grandparents Anna and Ägidius Dankl in 1950.
A short time later, my grandmother started renting out rooms.
It should be noted that at that time there was no running water in the rooms or even a separate toilet.
Over time, the single and double rooms were extended and they were each equipped with a small washbasin and a shared toilet,
and shower in the corridor.
Grandma had loyal guests who came to Fusch every year for many years and sometimes even decades to spend their vacations at our home. Renting out rooms and catering for guests was Grandma's passion. Guests became acquaintances and eventually friends of the family.
In 1990, my parents - Anni and Fred Dankl - took over the house and Grandma went into her well-deserved retirement. By this time,
my grandpa Gidi had unfortunately been dead for several years.
For various reasons, my parents decided to give up renting out single and double rooms and instead switch to renting out vacation apartments. After the necessary conversion and renovation work, my dad Fred mainly took over the letting and looking after the guests. In the summer months, the vacation apartments could also be booked with breakfast.
